Lagu-lagu Evanescence biasanya seram dan suram. Tapi bagi saya terasa sekali bahwa lagu-lagunya dinyanyikan dengan penuh perasaan. Ini yang membuat saya mudah menyukai lagu-lagu dari Amy Lee dkk.

Berikut dua lagu lama, dari album Evanescence EP tahun ’98. Not about love it is. Juga bukan tentang selingkuh (Haha… emang lagu-lagu dari band dan penyanyi yang konon lagi ngetop di Indonesia? Selingkuh lah, pacar dua lah, gak tahan ngeliat cewek cakep lah… Tahpapa!).

Tentang hasil dari pergulatan pemikiran lah, kalau boleh saya interpretasikan begitu. Yang pertama, mencari ketenangan dalam kegelapan.
